Baby & Toddler

Sessions

Information

Our Baby and Toddler Fun sessions run weekday afternoons during term time.

These sessions are suitable for swimmers from birth to 4 years.

Our pool is heated between 31-32 degrees making it an ideal environment for little ones to come and play.

When do these sessions run ?

Tuesdays 13:45-14:30

Wednesdays 14:30-15:15

Thursday 13:45-14:30

Friday 13:30-14:15

Please note that these sessions include changing time, and customers are kindly requested to exit the building no later than 5 minutes after the session end time. This allows us sufficient time to prepare for the next session and enables staff to have a brief break from poolside duties.

If possible, we recommend that customers arrive already in their swimwear.

Cost

Our Baby and Toddler Fun Sessions cost £6 which includes one adult and child.

Can I bring an extra adult or child?

Yes, a ticket will be required for entry.

Please note that a maximum of two non-swimmers per adult is permitted. Kindly be advised that adults are responsible for their children during this session and must ensure they are supervised at all times.

Spectators are free of charge and can watch from poolside or our reception area.

What is included?

During each session we will provide a selection of toys these can vary from watering cans, balls, ducks and floatation rings. We also have a platform for little ones to stand on.

How many swimmers in each session?

Our sessions can accommodate up to 12 adult and child couples, ensuring sufficient space for swimming and playing.

Pool Rules

  1. Swimmers that are not toilet trained must wear a double nappy - we cannot allow swimmers in with just a disposable nappy. We recommend happy nappies as these help to contain any accidents.

  2. Eating is not permitted on poolside or in the changing rooms.

  3. Mobile phones are not permitted poolside - We appreciate that some swimmers may wish to take photos especially of precious moments such as babies first swim. Please speak to a member of staff where we will do our best to assist.

  4. Please place all nappies in the nappy bin provided. These can be found in the changing rooms and on poolside next to the changing tables.

Pool Supervision

Two staff members will supervise these sessions. Whenever possible, at least one staff member will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Staff members who do not hold this qualification will possess either the STA Safety Award for Teachers or an equivalent credential. Holders of these awards/qualifications are trained in pool rescue, first aid, and adult CPR techniques. If no staff member on duty holds an NPLQ, you will be asked to sign a form prior to entering the pool.
