Driving / On Foot
The most direct access is to enter the Princess Royal Hospital complex at the roundabout on Lewes Road, turn right to pass in front of the hospital and follow the one-way system running parallel with the South Downs past Hurstwood Park. Turn left at Southdowns Park and pass the bowling green and tennis courts on your left to find the pool next to the courts. Limited parking is available next to the pool or in the car park before the bowling green (see map above).

Parking
Parking Information - We have access to three different car parks, all conveniently located on the same side of the road as the swimming pool building. Please refrain from using the parking areas on the opposite side of the road, as they belong to
Southdown's Park, and avoid parking on the main road.
1.Front Car Park**: This car park contains seven parking spaces adjacent to the pool building. Parking is complimentary.
2. Back Car Park**: This parking area includes one designated disabled space and four additional spaces prioritised for
individuals with young children or swimmers with limited mobility, as it provides accessible access to the main entrance. Parking is complimentary. This can be found at the back of the pool building through some metal gates.
3. Bowls Car Park**: Located approximately 100 meters up the road from the pool building, this gravel parking area is availablefor free however swimmers must enter their car registration details in the tablet located in the reception area or customers can scan the QR code at the front desk. Staff members are available to assist with this process.
