Goldfish 3

The Goldfish series is an exciting series of 3 progressive awards expanding on skills in a fun, progressive, challenging and rewarding way. On completion of this series, swimmers will be able to swim 15 metres without any aid as well as perform basic floats

When do the classes run?

Our current classes run on the following days and times

Monday 17:30-18:00

Tuesday 16:55-17:25

Wednesday 16:55-17:25

Thursday 16:20-16:50

Friday 15:45-16:15

Saturday 09:40-10:10/10:55-11:25

Sunday 09:20-09:50

How much does it cost

Our swimming terms run alongside West Sussex School term and usually run for 6 weeks. The cost of the 6-week term is £75. If a swimmer starts after the term has started this will be adjusted.

How many swimmers in a class?

We can have up to a maximum of 6 swimmers in the water with one Level 2

These classes are run in a 10m section in the deep end of the pool

Lesson Criteria

Answer 2 water safety questions
Perform 2 different entries & tread water for 15 seconds each time; (deep water)
Swim 15 metres of front crawl with side breathing
Swim 15 metres of back crawl
Swim 10 metres of Breaststroke
Swim 5 metres, dolphin leg kick on front
Swim 5 metres, dolphin leg kick on back
Perform a handstand with both hands on the pool floor; performed in chest-deep water
Perform a horizontal float on the back and hold for 5 seconds, roll on to the front, hold for 5 seconds, roll to the original back float position and hold for 5 seconds
Submerge, push and glide on the side, roll to a face down position

How do I book?

We are fully booked for the current term and are currently maintaining waiting lists for all Goldfish levels.
We would be pleased to add swimmers to the appropriate waiting list and will contact you when a place becomes available. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an estimated timeframe, as availability depends on renewals and promotions each term.
